I stayed at this Suburban Lodge during an overnight trip to Nashville, and it was exactly what I needed. The site specializes in accommodating longer stays than most hotels, and I found many of the things geared for the longer-term customer a plus for my short stay.
After a quick, friendly check-in, I walked into a spacious room, comfortably furnished room. The dark, faux-hardwood floors would be a perfect easy-care option for a week-long visit (or longer), and their contrast gave a nice look to the room.
Great location, in Hermitage TN, just 15 minutes from downtown Nashville and very close to the highway. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Room amenities were great including 4 cup coffee maker and apartment sized fridge, with the added stove and sink it's perfect for the extended stay guest or just someone passing through. Water pressure was top notch and shower was great! Clean and comfortable.
I loved the walk in shower and it had a ton of hot water and great pressure! The bed was great and really comfy. The hotel is in a busy area but the property is very quiet...never had trouble finding a parking space.
More than happy with Suburban Hermitage, and I can't wait to come back!
The room was great...full size fridge with a cooktop and microwave and full sink...really great and convenient.
The check in at this hotel was so fast...I didn't even have to set my backpack down! Within 5 minutes of walking into the lobby, I had keys in hand and was walking into my room.
I'm a nerd about being able to plug in phone, tablet, laptop, etc. without having to move furniture, so I was happy to find unused electrical outlets behind each nightstand, high enough on the wall for easy access.
We were able to check in fast and they let us get a late checkout. It was really excellent. It's in the Hermitage area, so there is plenty of access to banks, restaurants and a grocery store (which comes in handy since there is a stove and oven in the room).
I liked having a bigger than average refrigerator whose freezer could accommodate the ice cream I actually ended up storing there (vs, those little rectangles they call freezers in the tops of most hotels' fridges).
The Suburban Extended Stay in Hermitage right outside of Nashville, TN was perfectly located for our needs. Our conference was at Opryland Hotel, only about a 15 min ride from this hotel and other events were downtown, only a 15 min. ride. The room was very large with a king bed, full size fridge, microwave, stove, utensils, and 4 cup coffee maker. Alan at the front desk was very accommodating with our early check in request and all of the staff were super friendly. Nice quiet stay and will definitely stay here when in the Nashville area. Plus, there's a Waffle House right next door..... yum! Thanks for a great stay.
The little dinette with table and chairs would also work well for a longer visit, but it came in handy for my wife and me -- we took the short walk from Suburban to the Chinese Restaurant and Dairy Queen right around the corner, came back to the room, pulled the table and chairs out into the middle of the room, and had a nice, private dinner.
I had forgotten my room key one night...and had returned to the hotel after 2am...the manager happened to be in the hallway and he had no problem going to make me a new key...just top notch service from the very beginning!
If you're looking to have a quiet sleep, in a comfortable room, with plenty of space and all the amenities you need, then this is the perfect hotel. You're only 15 min from downtown Nashville but far away enough to get some rest and not pay a fortune. The room was clean and the bed was really soft.
