Very nice hotel with a really modern design. The rooms are very nice and large. The location is close to downtown Nashville so it isn't far from the action, but it is far enough that you don't hear it from the hotel. I would definitely go here again!
Service: Staff was mostly friendly except for the manager (40-50yo male). I requested recommendations on local attractions/events and he basically pointed to some pamphlets. Upon checkout, I am certain he overcharged me for a small snack. He approached his job with barely a smile. **Don't expect Southern hospitality from this guy. He stood out as a major negative in an otherwise pleasant stay.
Decor: Stylish, contemporary lobby and rooms
Aloft West End was amazing! Hugh and the rest of the staff went above and beyond. The location was great... right between Broadway where the bars are and Vanderbilt area where there are a ton more sweet restaurants and bars! The service is what sets them apart in my opinion. They anticipated our every need, whether it was extra towels, a cab called, a dinner recommendation or our luggage stored. If I went back to Nashville, I would only stay at Aloft West End!
Room: Competitive rates. Clean. Reliable free wifi. Average view. Walk-in shower (no tub) / **Very loud climate control unit will be a problem for light sleepers
4.5 out of 5. No bath tub in my room or a speaker to play music. Everything else is phenomenal. Huge rooms, great service with a very nice bar in the lobby. Convenient location for going out. Very short uber ride to get to the main strip.
What a gem! Very European feel. Artsy design and decor. Rooms are spacious and so comfortable. Love the bath design.
