My wife and I were married on November 11, 2017 and we stayed at the Courtyard Marriot Downtown Nashville that weekend. Unfortunately, my wife triggered the fire alarm in our hotel room, the sprinklers went off and flooded the room, the hallway, and two floors beneath us. The alarm was mistakenly triggered because my wife was steaming her dress and the steam went up to the sprinkler and set the alarm off.
Good location only a few blocks away from Broadway. Kitchen was closed at the time but the restaurant looked really nice. Clean and friendly host and valet workers.
Great location close to everything downtown. Reception gave excellent service and were very accommodating. Room was clean and exceeded expectations. Bar was slow to open...expected them to be ready to serve at 5pm but were still setting up. Person taking our breakfast order had a hard time understanding our order...but with a little effort we got what we requested.
The hotel itself was top notch, the bar was amazing and there was live music and of course the hotel is centrally located to nearly everything Nashville. If you want a great place to stay with excellent rooms and wonderful customer service I would highly recommend the Courtyard Marriot Downtown Nashville!
The hotel was nice and clean. The room was a little smaller than some others I have stayed at in the past, but still plenty comfortable. The hotel also hosted the professional training course I was attending and the accommodations were satisfactory. There is a Starbucks adjourned to it in addition to the hotel's own bistro. My only real complaint would be the cost of parking (valet), but I suppose that is to be expected in downtown Nashville. The location was great. Overall I was very pleased with my experience.
The hotel’s staff response was amazing! I cannot say enough positive words and express my gratitude and thanks for their patience, empathy, and assistance they provided. It was the night before our wedding and my wife had just ruined her wedding dress and flooded the place however they were just as nice and as professional as they could be. We are eternally grateful and thankful for the staff, especially the managers and cleaning crew for their assistance and understanding. Prior to this experience the stay there was already amazing, this incident and the response of the crew really was special!
Good location, clean. Not happy with having to pay $32 a day additional for parking, would be nice if the hotel could work out some sort of discount for guests. Would also be nice if there had been a refrigerator and microwave in the room.
