I came to Nashville for a job interview, and I stayed here. It's a great place to stay on a business trip because it has all the basics. Nice bed, nice tv, new fridge and microwave, iron and iron board ready to use. In a quiet area, a little out of the way but I don't consider it shady or unsafe at all - I've lived in Sacramento and San Francisco, CA, so that's what I'm comparing to. Air conditioner worked just fine and tons of outlets. Great cheap place to stay, but not a place to go if you're looking for fancy.
Stayed overnight on a whim. Expected classic motel fare, got much better. Room was nice, clean, and odor free. Furnishings were clean and well maintained. Front desk service was pleasant and hospitable. Room amenities were modern and well kept. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend to anybody in the area. The only downsides are proximity to the airport, and some people may find the neighborhood "shady" (we had no problems). Overall, my expectations were well exceeded.
Do not recommend staying here.
Rooms were good, staff was nice. Only negative is the location is a little sketchy. That being said, it is fairly easy to get around the city from there, seeing it is right next to a highway.
It's not the Ritz Carlton, but for what you pay for, it's perfectly adequate. It is clean; the staff is friendly. We saw no evidence of bugs or rodents. The floors were wood laminate, which is a little weird but understandable from a cleaning perspective. The mattresses were kinda hard and I could feel the springs when I sat, but it slept ok. Blankets were thin but the heat worked fine. It is very noisy. Could easily hear people walking outside and in the room above. The planes going overhead actually bothered less. Slept with the bathroom fan running to create some white noise, but a garbage truck still woke us at 6 a.m. The continental breakfast is exactly what you expect: pretty lame. Food and coffee were fresh though.
Not a great area of Nashville apparently. Hotel is also in the path of airplanes landing at the airport, which you could hear all night. You could hear people talking outside of the room like they were inside. Bed was terrible and not very clean. Room was extremely tiny. We had 2 nights reserved but left after 1 and went to a better area of Nashville.
