Every hotel was booked solid. After a ruined vacation I was told we would receive a free night to cover this horrible experience. Which was not honored by the new local manager first. If it would have ended there this would be a totatally different review. Thankfully I emailed and was put in touch with Mr.Ryan White who made things right and apologized for our vacation being ruined. This hotel which does in fact need some lessons in customer service in the lower levels of management however has hope of continued improvement due to the integrity and honor of the upper management. Mistakes happen that is sometimes unavoidable. The handling of such mistakes is then what holds precedent and Mr. White has upheld his job and is a man that honors his word.
As we waited to check in there was another person in front of us attempting to check in as well. The person had booked online but it was apparently after the hotel was completely booked. The attendant did offer apologies, blaming the manager, but did not offer to call any of the other hotels around or even notify the customer that there were any other hotels around. The customer was obviously pretty flustered as it was late and she was just dropped off with an Uber. As the customer stood there in shock trying to access her situation the attendant just kept repeating "Please don't cry. Please don't cry' for around 30 seconds.
The hotel is clean and is currently being remodeled. Our son loved the indoor pool and it was clean and well maintained. The downsides were that the website advertised a hot tub and it is not currently working and hasn't been for awhile apparantly. Also, there weren't any fresh items like fruit or yogurt for breakfast.
So far hotel is not bad. Breakfast was good, rooms are good sized and have plenty of room. Ice machine and vending machines when needed at the top. Pool water is not the greatest but still works if you want to bathe there instead of the nice showers inside the rooms. Would recommend this hotel if you really need a last minute place to stay at in Nashville. Will update review as I continue staying at this location.
My family and friends family reserved rooms for spring break. Only to find they had overbooked their rooms and to make a very long story short we had no place in the inn. We had no place anywhere in Nashville for that matter.
Great Hotel. Rooms are comfortable. Beds are somewhat soft. Pool was fantastic. If you don't have swim attire there is a store close. This Hotel is close too many amenities. Nice size TV. Fridge and microwave in room. Staff is very polite and eager to communicate. I definitely recommend this Hotel.
