I asked the maid to change my sheets. She agreed then when I returned it was NOT done. There was still opened soap wrapper on my bathroom floor. All she did was bring in towels and make bed and it still had wrinkles on them. I didn't trust her to do as she said and marked the sheet with a pen spot to know if she changed them or not and she did NOT! I complained and they sent a man up to change them thankfully but I don't like wasting my time and irritation my vacation. The sheets were very scratchy. I asked for a room away from traffic noise and they gave me a room in the middle of the hotel and I heard the highway. The bathroom tile had mold on it when I came in. This Hyatt is not an upscale hotel. I would not stay again. The area is totally touristy and not appealing.

We loved this hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious with modern details and an in room safe as well. The bathroom just has a walk in shower and no tub, but that is fine for me, even though it is a bit small and tough to close the door. The TV is large and swivels between the bedroom and living room area. The free breakfast is great, there is a lot of selection and the main dish changes daily. The coffee is strong and tastes great. I also like that there is 24/7 room service available and a snack shop with a lot of selection. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and it is close to the Grand Ole Opry entertainment and shopping area. I will definitely stay here again.

great breakfast with good coffee. bed are nice and comfortable. great shuttle service to the grand hotel. love the rooms with couch and separate area for sleeping. would go back anytime

Hotel rooms have an "old-kind-of-renovated" feel to them. The lobby is modern and has received the biggest face lift. The hotel staff were pleasant, professional, and very accommodating. But the rooms themselves are dated. The bathrooms are very small and not comfortable for guests. I also didn't like having the vanity/sink directly across from the bed. The partition wall is a nice feature, that separates the sleeping area from the sofa and main door. I give this location two starts because of the old-not-fully-renovated feel. But 4 starts to hotel staff. Location, (proximity to local and main highways and the airport) along with a neat and well-maintained lawn/landscaping of hotel would also bring another star. But again, the "surface" look of the hotel is not enough; especially for the rates associated with this hotel.

We had a great experience. Good breakfast and clean rooms. I love enjoyed the free gaylord hotel transit and the cheap downtown transit
