Great hotel. Very convenient to downtown. Rooms are very clean and updated. Each room comes with a white nose machine and ear plugs in case there is noise outside. There is a bar downstairs with a nice seating area. Worth the money.
The location to the Country Hall of Fame was super close and Broadway just a short walk.
It is unfortunate because it does affect the hotel
The noise from work starting at 7 in the morning was horrific, sidewalks were closed and chain link fences on many of the streets making it feel unsafe at night
The rooms were large and the hotel was centrally located next to Broadway, where all the live music and bars are hopping at night. Perfect for families visiting Nashville and for friends looking for a place close to the action on Broadway.
Fire department shows up and clears the alarm 20 minutes later. Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown clearly hasn’t trained their staff for such situations, and they are putting their patrons at significant risk by not having a fire plan and executing on it. It’s a nice hotel, but Safety is not their first priority.
A nice hotel that we have stayed at many times, but after the experience we just had it may be the last. 7:30PM rolls around and the fire alarm goes off. The first issue is its nearly impossible to hear in the room; if someone was sleeping they would definitely sleep through it.
Room was clean and adequate amenities.
I stayed overnight at the Hyatt place in Nashville over the weekend. The service at the front desk was great and the room was amazing as well. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a dream. They had a nice breakfast selection with french toast, sausage links, eggs, mixed fruit, muffins and more.
Okay, fire alarm at a hotel... not the first time it’s happened. Down 7 flights of stairs we go, and we safely exit the building. We turn the corner and look in the lobby and it’s full of people watching the band and drinking. Walk to the front desk and ask what is going on and they say they do not know and to stay in the lobby.
The downside to our stay was the construction going on all around the building.
The hotel itself is very nice. The bed is comfortable, the room is large and the shower is wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly.
