Hilton Garden Inn has only valet parking and is a bit out of the way if you're looking to mainly be in downtown Nashville. However if you're visiting Vanderbilt, it is a great location. Amenities are typical with soft and comfortable bedding, quiet rooms, and a pleasant atmosphere. The only downside are the loud hvac systems.
Great hotel because of its location, cleanliness, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The only drawback is when a neighbor lets their door slam shut, you can hear it and the walls shake! But everything else is so wonderful and I would definitely stay here again!
Very nice room with a corner window and huge bathroom. I recommend slippers because the vast expanse of tile floor is cold! The mattress is comfortable, firm but not rock hard like many hotels have. The pillows were too soft for my liking--my head sank down to the mattress--but my husband would have loved them.
Also- your shuttle driver, Matthew, should be more considerate when he has people in his vehicle. Making fun of people because of what they're wearing or because they cannot afford a coat is unacceptable and pathetic.
Horrible experience all the way around. Their check in clerks need to be versed on all processes and procedures. We were told that we were being charged for rooms and an incidental fee upon check in. I was told I would get this money back as long as everything was okay with the room, etc. When we checked out, I was charged an additional $103 for incidentals (parking and breakfast). When I spoke to them about this, I was told I was never charged the original incidental fee. So now I have been charged twice for something and they refuse to do anything about it. WILL NEVER stay here again. You guys made Nashville a terrible experience because of your lack of customer service skills.
