Hotel room was adequate but could use some updating. Bed was on the firm side, definitely not a pillowtop mattress! There was a very good, complimentary, full hot breakfast and there is also a bar that offers food after 4pm. The indoor pool was unavailable due to scheduled maintenance during my visit. There is a shuttle service that goes to downtown attractions from 8am-9pm.
Enjoyed very comfortable beds and ample size room and bathroom for 3 nights. Hot breakfast was not missing anything. Staff was friendly and common areas were inviting to relax in. Indoor pool was big and clean although on the cool side. Fitness room had many useful pieces of equipment and weights. Shuttle to downtown was helpful. Only negatives were being in industrial area and near freight train tracks. Fortunately my husband loves trains!!!
Friendly staff. Hotel is older and showing it's age. Located in a very industrial and not pleasant area. This hotel is not downtown. It is an almost 2 mile walk to downtown through some questionable areas. Located right on I-65. If you're doing a quick night sleep off the Interstate it's probably ok. To visit the City and go Downtown, there are better choices.
Hot breakfast, but not tasty. The room they gave us was run down and by the train tracks. After begging for another room all morning...we finally got a new rotation in staff and the night shift found us a better room away from the tracks. However it also has its issues (hot water takes 5-7 minutes to come through which is such a shame and waste of water). The shuttle service is a bonus to make up for the bad breakfast, low quality rooms and crappie day staff (I can only imagine how the morning girl would be if she had a full house. She must not understand the concept of 'hospitality'). On the other hand, the night staff (a young man and older woman) are wonderful to deal with. Always smiling and go beyond standards with their helpful voluntary suggestions. As guests we are not asking for much. We spend our days and nights out. A friendly smile and assistance when things go wrong go a long way in hotel reviews.
Was very pleased with our stay. Great hotel and everyone was so nice. Would like to give a shout out for Dion, he always made sure we had what we needed when we ate breakfast. Very nice man. Thank you Dion
