Great doctors, wonderful nurses. Admitted through ER, stayed both in CCU and regular rooms; had surgery. I got TLC along with fantastic care!
My low rating is the problem of entering a hospital that my insurance company considers an in-network provider but that Summit provided me with doctors in both the ICU and the ER that were not in-network providers. In addition, the therapists assigned to me were also out of network. I've called Administration and two separate Director and Manager of Patient Access numbers supplied here in responses to other reviews and was never even given the decency of a return phone call. I do not believe Summit treated me fairly and don't agree that I should be paying these additional charges.
Usual Its ok but you really should have knowledge when you go here so you can keep them on their toes. Bring your housekeeper too seems to me that summit may be needing some help. I was in the ER with a respiratory issue and my room was completely filthy with no exaggeration. When i mentioned it to the nurse (politely ) she did say sorry. I tried calling to voice my concerns but the next morning, which is today no one answered at 8:30 am. Maybe they need help there too. You never know, pray for summit that it fixes these small but important issues
Unfortunately our family has had to visit on four different occasions for three different people over the past three years. Life happens...you just roll with it. TriStar Summit did an admirable job in general. Hopefully you don't catch them when the ER is full...and it frequently is. On our most recent visit we were there about 7 a.m. and they were no where near as full as usual. We got back to a room quickly and the whole experience was great. Thanks so much for taking care of our family.
Was a great experience. I was nervous about pain and anesthesia. Everyone from the woman at the front desk to the nurses were very caring and helpful. Didn’t wait too long for anything. Good experience overall!
