I always find that the good goes unrecognized way too often so I wanted to come here and make sure to give them a good review. I had such a great experience here today since arriving. The staff were all super friendly and genuinely cared for me, which made me incredibly surprised. They really try to help people in hardships and genuinely care for their patients. For once, I feel hopeful for my ongoing medical treatment that I will be receiving here at The General Hospital.
This is for ER only! I went for flu like symptoms X10. I have asma couldn't breath asked for a treatment 3 times. Never got it they gave me a puffer, there's a big difference. Then swabe for flu and it was negitive. You would think he would check for strep next maybe blood work, no. Tylonal. No-one ever came in the room, no-one did anything, then the man right next door room They didn't have a sign on the mans door stating he has TB. His sister was mad and told them, the Dr told her he was over it to leave to the lobby and was extremely non concerned and disrespectful grantes the magnitude. The sister's was not yelling just making a point and speaking fact. So The charge nurse finally came to the mans room informed him of his patients rights and asked who the lady was that was upset. Then shut his door. I couldt hear the rest. Then the charge nurse came out went to the Doctor and told him the mans sister was dead right (exact words) and he needed to get one up by law now. Before that happened they where in and out of his room my room and a little kids room masks nothing. Needless today I'm going somewhere else because I'm still sick.
The doctors and staff are competent and compassionate. There was very little wait time and everything was well explained. Wonderful place for care.
These are not good people .every time I called they acted like I did not know what I was talking about.they told me to be at hospital at 8 which I was then took them more then a hour to get my paper work together then had to wait again because they made me miss my appointment up stairs. So slow and un organized
Too bad there is no zero star option . This place is a raquet. They send people away from scheduled appointments and make them return repeatedly to get simple procedures completed. It's a SAD use of tncare funding and even sadder abuse of the underprivileged. The staff treats state insured people as sub human. They have zero professionalism or courtesy. None.
