BUYER BEWARE. I used credit card points to rent the vehicle. I told the lady at the counter that I specifically did not want the damage/waiver insurance. She slipped the insurance on the vehicle anyway at $38.49 a day so it looked like the rental amount, but it was in addition to the rental cost. The actual rental car amount didn't show because I used credit card points or I would have caught the increased amount. I also found out a day later that they charged $100 to wash the vehicle! Who does that?! I called Hertz/Dollar/Thrifty to dispute the charges to no avail and got the run around with four different customer service representatives. So I filed a dispute with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the BBB. SHADY, SHADY, SHADY!
I rented a car last week. Within 2 days of having the rental I hit a deer that pretty much totaled the front of the car. I called Thrifty and the next morning they sent a tow truck with another car so my vacation would not be held up. My location was 2 hours away from theirs!! They went above and beyond. I am a Thrifty customer for now on.
Great service and price. Hint: join their loyalty club. It expedited the whole process and costs nothing.

Don't rent from these ripoff artists. Charged me $300 for vehicle damage. I called and said what damage? They claimed they found ashes on driver's floorboard. BS, we don't smoke. They didn't clean it well from previous renters. I disputed it and they still charged me $300 and you can't do anything about it. You can't even dispute it with American Express since they have some BS deal with them. Basically Thrifty can rip you off for finding no damage, not clean the vehicle and do the same thing to the next sucker! This place cannot be trusted!!!!
