Always packed. But that means there are 100 drivers not working where I make the money. The airport Lyft and Uber folks seem to love it here...enjoy your wait. I'll stop by when the driver count is under 50 between both platforms.
With so many lyft drivers in nashville now we could use a bigger parking lot or allow us to park in other locations. The bathrooms are a plus but Wi-Fi would be the finishing touch
I’m not trying to complain about BNA as I am grateful they have parking and we are able to pick up and drop off at the airport. I guess I was just taken back by the parking accommodations as the influx of tourists and business travelers here is very high. With the higher demand for Rideshare, I just expected it to be better than what it is at the moment. If you have never parked at another airport then you wouldn’t know the difference and probably think every parking area is like BNA, however, that is definitely not the case. BNA really needs to make plans to improve the parking structure for Rideshare and I hope this post is passed on to upper management and they take the necessary steps to provide us with a much better alternative than what is available to us now.
I like the fact that the parking lot at BNA is so close to the terminal, but there’s just no room and there’s no public restroom. And since they only provide portable toilets, I’m sure it’s not very pleasant to utilize those facilities with how cold it gets here during the winter. I really hope BNA has future plans to make the parking lot for Rideshare drivers bigger and better to include a restroom facility with running water. At BNA, there are A LOT of parking lots so they definitely have a plethora of options to improve the accommodations for Uber/Lyft drivers.
Look forward to meeting new drivers in the area as we definitely had a close knit group of drivers in Florida. I’m sure going to miss them. Would be nice to meet new people in the area as well and hopefully get some advice on the best area to drive in and the areas to try to avoid as I have NO idea. It’s just good information to know.
Having just moved to the Nashville area, I’m not impressed with the parking lot for us drivers. I moved here from Florida 2 weeks ago and at the airport we are provided with at least 300 or more parking spaces, a public restroom which is cleaned twice daily, and a food truck. The lot even has Wi-Fi, vending machines, and flight information screens to know arriving and departing flights. There is also is a charging station for electric vehicles to recharge, free of charge. Below you will see some pictures of the Uber/Lyft lot in Florida just to give y’all an idea.
Glad to have some type of restroom but if there we're a urinal I bet the handicap stalls wouldn't be destroyed every single night. It shows what drivers men to the airport.
We are treated as outcasts by the airport because we take money away from the ever-expanding and almost unneccessary parking lot additions.
Portable toilets are available for use with hand sanitizer. Trashcans are also available. Remember to stay cool and hydrated.
