Beautiful park with a great view of the capitol building. You can always find great food in the food court and at the farmer's market outside, if it's running. Lots of history can be found on the surrounding sidewalk, the pillars along the food court side of the park and in a couple other spots as well. Plus they are building a Tennessee museum now as well. Large enough fields that they could accommodate plenty of people hanging out on blankets, or even a pickup game of football or frisbee.

Awesome place to relax, walk, run, check out some cool little monuments. The railroad bridge is an awesome place to hang out, and even watch the trains. You can also go check out Capitol Hill and the Farmers Market right near by. It is definitely a fun place to check out.
We spent an hour or so there. It was a great place for a photo. If it is hot, you can run through the fountains. There is a bathroom there. There is shade also. Bring a picnic and spend some family time there. We will definitely be back in the near future.
Beautiful Park... close to downtown... you can say like New York Central Park...... now days lots of construction and less parking... hopefully they won't mess up the park... so nice to walk and when there is spring... LOVE IT!!!!!
