Hidden lake is a hidden gem. Not crowded and a pretty hike.
This is one of my favorite parks it’s a great place to go for a walk with the dog. The gates may close at five but I’ve never had a problem parking at the entrance and walking through with the gate closed.
Great views and short, moderate hiking trails that take you to a hidden lake nestled alongside the Harpeth River.
A favorite place to take my son for a quick hike in the woods and is a great place to introduce kids to the joys of hiking. He loves to throw stones from the shore into Hidden Lake and we have done a polka or two up on the dance floor above the lake. The trails are pretty easy and fun but you won't find a lot of miles here if that is your thing. The place has a cool history and plenty of parking.
Loved this place. Me and my 7yr old had a wonderful day exploring. I will definitely visit again.
