Good theater with IMAX and RPX. Regal Crown club makes getting loyalty points for free stuff like movie tickets easy. No assigned seating or oversized recliners in, at least, three auditoriums is a bit of a bummer.
The Imax is awesome, great snack bar! Easy parking. This is the location I choose to go to see movie's at. Good for families too.
Picture and sound were ok, but seat was ridiculously uncomfortable. They move like they could recline a bit but the only way to actually accomplish this would be to put your feet up on the head of the seat in front of you, which you can't do if someone is sitting there. Just sitting normally leaves you feeling like you're getting pitched forward out of your seat. Impossible to relax. Would never return because of this. Also, was very clean, even restrooms. Seating thing is a shame.
I came to an RPX theater expecting a great movie with recliner seats like usual. However, upon purchasing tickets the nice lady said the theater was investing their money to build a bar and dine in service, instead of getting better seating.. Eating and getting tipsy does not trump being comfortable while watching my movie HELLLOOOOOOO! Needless to say I declined
Theater itself was nice, comfy seats, concessions were much more expensive than other theaters (seriously... $11 after tax for 2 small bottles of water? understand a captive audience charge but that is ludicrous)... but will not be going back due to how rude the fellow moviegoers are at this location. Went to an 8:30pm showing, theater was maybe only 15% full, There were people talking on their phones narrating the entire movie to whoever they were speaking to, Holding up their phones recording the movie... Taking photos with flash... Yelling over the movie to the person next to them. My wife and I moved seats multiple times to get away from groups that were being obnoxious. Apparently this theater has the standpoint that after they sell you the ticket, your experience is your problem (you need to leave the movie, hope you find a manager... miss 10 minutes of movie)... Not worth it... will just go to a theater that actually has moderators.
