It's a good theater. I see a lot of people complaining about the price of concessions but that's just the way of the world today. During my last visit I even had one of the cleaning crew direct me to the nearest bathroom without being asked (he was quick to recognize a man stepping out and looking around as a man in need).
In comparison, I've been to other places with electric, reclining leather chairs with attachable tables for a full menu of food etc. The screens have been similar but with much cleaner sound.
Cool place. The bathrooms were a little sticky. The employees were nice and very helpful.
The place was clean and the staff was attentive and friendly. I used my movie pass and regal club card so my visit was essentially free...EXCEPT for the drink and candy. THAT cost me $11, thus the one star deduction. Maybe next time I will wear my "scottievest" or something else with bigger pockets! LOL
I watched a RPX screening of Thor ragnarok and was disappointed in the experience. It wasn't "bad" but I've had many better experiences elsewhere. The screen is large but the sound leaves something to be desired. The chairs had me squirming after 20 minutes to find a place of comfort. The film had a showtime of 7:15 however the first moments of the movie didn't air until 7:39.that was waaay too many previews and commercials.
This was an awesome theatre when they opened, but at this point it could use an update. The seats arent very comfortable and look kind of shabby, not surprising given they are the same ones that were there when it opened around 20 years ago.
This place is highly acclaimed but pales in comparison to many other theaters I've been to. Many screens, which is great but there is no other entertainment. Others have restaurants, bars, etc that keep your attention. This place offers you nothing extra.
