Get there on time. After a movie starts they lock the doors to the outside. I was 2 minutes late to a movie. Those kids stood at the register and laughed at me trying to get in. I WAS SNOWING OUTSIDE. 5 minutes later when i didnt leave, one of the kids finally opened the door to tell me.
The service was excellent. The prices were amazingly low but the theater needs to updated beyond the lobby. Overall it was worth it
Upgrade to place is forthcoming, hoping more changes come. Prices are on point compared to surrounding.
So News Flash if you didnt know: AMC bought this from Carmike and killed the $2 movie experience we all knew and loved. Sad. It was a good thing while it lasted and a fun place to see old movies that just went out of the big theaters. Our family of five used to go there a lot and we spent around $20 total for drink, popcorn (the bucket) and movie tickets. Now with the AMC takeover, it's their "Classic" series of theaters which means $4.99 per ticket before 4pm for both adults & children, and after 4pm Adults only go to $6.99. The plus to this switch is cheaper new movies. They get new movies every week. So you win some and you lose some.
Take my daughter here regularly.
Delightful little theater, I wish AMC had one closer to me. Saw The Last Jedi on a Monday, 1:30p.m. show time. Practically had the place to myself.
