After lounging in our semi private recliners while watching the latest marvel installation, the entire family realized we could never go back. We could never, under any circumstances go back to a theater experience that didn't include recliners. I'm not kidding y'all, I'm a regal crown rewards member with two free regal tickets sitting in my wallet that we will probably never use. The main reason these recliners are such a big deal for me is they eliminate the neck ache I get at virtually every other theater. I am only 5 ft tall, and my neck doesn't hit the sweet spot on the neck rest of most seats, pushing it forward the entire length if the film. Reclining allows me to sit comfortably!!! This theater is now THE theater, no others exist. They have an excellent selection of items at concession, and a bar with cocktails to help you make it through those 'animated classics'. Paying for the AMC Stubs Premiere gets you waived service fees for online tickets, and a VIP line at concessions, where the wait is basically void. for us, it's already paid for itself. Go see a movie y'all.
Theater itself is fantastic and love the recliners and view of the screen. But...we just got back from an 8pm movie and the entire theater was filthy. There was popcorn all over the lobby, hallways and theater. There were spills in multiple places. The bathroom was disgusting.
Very nice to have a new theatre to go to w/o having to drive to Green Hills. My only complaint is the irregular hours for the bar. Our movie was at 3pm. The bar didn't open until 4:30. The employee said sometimes they open at 12:30pm, sometimes 2:30pm or whenever they decide to open. She said it depends on how many tickets they've sold. Makes no sense to me. ???
As I am posting this, the theatre is brand new and super clean. It is an AMC theatre that offers reclining seats and open fountains for you drink options as well as a butter pump so you fix your pop corn up how you like it. The concessions have great options. However, even if you buy your tickets in advance you still have to wait in the concession line behind others buying tickets before you can place your order.
Wonderful new theater in Nashville. Great, comfortable recliner seats. Small, intimate screens. Unfortunately the staff doesn't measure up to the superior quality of the venue.
No one ever checked our tickets. Either there was no manager there at all or they are totally incompetent. The theater has been open for less than two months. It should be spotless.
