I was really impressed the atmosphere and food. I recommend this place to anyone. Give it a try and you'll be surprised. I had the baked ziti and it was a great dish. The calzones are even better!
I used to love this place. Ordered delivery, phone order was rough and delivery guy was d*ck. I recently had knee surgery and can't move well on crutches. He called to say he was here my girl who ordered and paid by phone was trying to tell him I was coming but he hung up on her. Dude doesn't speak at all. Just tried to hand me a big bag like he doesn't see the crutches holding me upright. So I asked if he can put in on the other side of the living room. He looks at me like I got 3 heads then just drops it on the arm of the couch. When I finally get my food to my room. My calamari is soggier than ham sandwich left in the rain. I'm hungry so I'm eating it. But I can't deal with attitude, rudeness, and soggy food. I'm done Taste of Italy.
We'll my first experience here was like weird. I thought it was closed at first it was dark but the sign said on the door "yes we're open". There was no music and the guy that was like suppose to be a greeter he looked like a customer standing in line. So we ordered food it was eh i mean it taste like microwave food tbh. Desert was good didn't look nothing like the picture it looked like they took it out the freezer and just threw it on the plate. Not something i would invite people to.
We brought wine and when we put it on the table were told they did not allow alcohol in the restaurant. Good was ok but service was poor. Salads came out before the appetizers we ordered. For 7:30 on a Friday night we were the only ones in there. No take away orders while we were there either. I kept wondering what this place was a front for. Also server seemed as if she was rushing us the the meal. We won't be back.
We love it here! The menu is simple and all options are delicious. We are also Italian and we approve the authenticity. The service is great and they're always smiling. Highly recommend the surrounding area does not compare so don't judge until you try it. Except Dear Sushi...we love it too!
