BYOB or wine. My go-to restaurant for a good meal or taking guest out for Chinese. The owners are incredibly kind, and the food is wonderful. Do yourself a favor: go with a group (5-8) and order family style. One of the few places in Nashville I'll ever pay to serve me duck.
Just down the road is a Waffle House with good hot food and good service. I’m glad we left Lucky Bamboo.
The folks here are very nice (they remind me of the nice people in Beijing :)), and the dishes are decent. I go here for the closest thing to Chengdu food I can get in Nashville. It's not the same or nearly as good as what you get in China, but def tastes more authentic compared to what the Chinese restaurants here usually offer.
Great food, reasonable price s, and the owners are amazing people. I come here religiously just because of how positive and accommodating they are. It's also been voted best Chinese restaurant for a few years in The Nashville Scene (for good reason). Try the hot pots (dim sum?) on Saturdays. Incredible!
Went to Lucky Bamboo China Bistro with Zoe…my foodie buddy. A couple of “firsts” for me today…Dim Sum and chicken feet. Now I do not have any real experience on what “good” Dim Sum or chicken feet might be…but my taste buds enjoyed what was served here and my belly is happy. While they did not have the Dim Sum that they serve on the weekends, a full tray of various Dim Sum brought to the table for selection, we just ordered from the appetizer menu. We did some pork, shrimp, sticky rice in lotus leaf, and chicken feet. The buns/dumplings were excellent, a lot of flavor, and I loved the different wraps on the shrimp versus the pork buns. The sticky rice was good, one side was a bit overcooked, but the “inside” was really good. As for the chicken feet…I was IMPRESSED. The sauce they are cooked in is really good and after I understood and figured out how to eat them, the “meat” on the feet was very tasty too. All in all…a really good lunch and the service was extremely friendly and efficient.
I will come back here so I can try the full Dim Sum experience along with some of their other offerings.
Seems this restaurant has a number of different events, live music, and dancing throughout the month. They also do an “Adventure Dinner” once a month (first Monday) where they serve things NOT on their menu…sounds “adventurous” and kinda exciting.
We were there for 1 hour and 10 minutes and only received our hot and sour soup and hot tea. I choose this restaurant because of the great reviews. My husband and I were in town for a rare date night and stopped here to eat before our concert. The soup was good. The tea was bland.
