Their hamburger pizza is great. But if you don't eat it right away it gets very dry.
Nice selection of different pizzas. I'm a fan of the Rancher and the Gyro. It tastes really good when it's hot but after it gets cool, it tastes like store bought pizza. A bit better than other pizza places around Donelson. Staff is nice but pizza is just ok.
Just passing through the area, was staying at the Country Inn & Suites after a long day at work. Got online about 7:00, didn't really want to but placed an online order for Papa Johns... only AFTER I clicked "pay for your order", it says "Estimated delivery: 85-95 minutes" Whaaa? So I called and canceled. Decided to give Fox's Pizza Den a try; hoping they could get it delivered faster than Papa Johns. I called and placed the order at 7:15, the nice lady said it would be about 45 min (I thought to myself, hey, that's half of what Papa Johns said, so no problem!) -- and it shows up in 30min - piping hot pizza, and pretty darn good! Driver was very friendly, gave him a 20% tip for them getting it out so fast. These guys are my heroes tonight. So here I am, not even 8:00 yet, eating my pizza, and already done writing a review.
We order from papa johns for years every week but got the flyer in the mail about fox den pizza and we gave them a try. Long story short our 3 pizza order from papa johns is now being covered by the fox dens big Daddy pizza. Wonderful tasting pizza and soooo big. We now order one pizza from fox den and feed the family and cheaper.
Ordered a big daddy size pizza and 12 pc wings for 2 adults, 2 teens, and 3 kids and we were full. Food was hot, fresh, and delivered fast! I'm from WI I would definitely recommend this place for big families on a budget!!!
