Dr. Dimick did surgery on my neck in 2011 and I've been pain free ever since. I have a chronic lower back problem that was operated on in 2007 by a neurosurgeon that has plagued me with pain ever since. Dr. Dimick has treated me and always been most kind and listened to me. I've never felt rushed and have had to wait sometimes, but that's the price we pay these days for good doctors. I would recommend (and have) him to anyone with a back problem that wants a honest, caring and very knowledgeable physician.
I had three injuries within a 5 year period that required orthopedic care. In all three instances my care was entrusted to Dr Dimick. Unlike other comments I've read on this thread, I rarely had a wait time over 10 minutes from the time I entered the door until I saw the doctor. Each visit, he took time to explain the effects of my injuries and what treatment would be prescribed. He always allowed more than enough time for me to express concerns and fully addressed each. When I was under his care, I was in extreme pain and was a grouch at times, Dr Dimick and his nurse, Ruth, were understanding of this and were always kind to me. I made progress and full recoveries after each incident. I am grateful to Dr Dimick for properly identifying my condition and effective treatment.
DR Dimick did help heal my daughters injury with splints and care. My negative response is for how the insurance and billing got handled. Divorce insured issues make taking care of children very difficult, the office was very unhelpful with billing and reporting to the balance owed after services. Bills were sent to ex husband and when the balance of 200$ was unpaid in a timely manner it was reported to my credit.. I was unaware of balance.. ONE phone call could have fixed this problem.
He is a awesome doctor!! He did my first surgery when i was 16 and he made me feell so comfortable and safe and i could never thank him enough for getting me out of that pain i was in!! But now im having the same things going on again and i need to see him again which is fine. I just don't want surgery again
he sent me a letter 20 years ago releasing me from his practice because he said I was faking my problems even fractures and ligament retears because he couldn't trust me and I was almost driven out of the hermitage office until hhe realized after a 10 minute argument with the staff in 2012 that I was escorting 2 mentally challenged patients from an agency that trains and supports them for post surgical treatment and he operated on both of them. hes a jerk and if this wasn't publicly posted id say worse but yet he was very friendly with me when I was still check point supervisor a@b in 1997 when he was flying out for conferences. needless to say I wont step foot in any of his offices anymore and have steered many people away from his care and many coworkers and my old neighbors in hermitage were former patitents themselves and he dismissed all of us fot the same reason.we all agree on onething if he was the only provider left on earth we would be knocking against walls and popping knees back in to place ourselves
