I've dealt with at least two doctor at this facility. Both of which seemed genuine.
And due to the idiots selling/stealing medication it has forced doctors into a thin line on prescriptions. I was in the medical field for many years, you have to look at it in a patient's standpoint as well as the physician's standpoint as well.
I use to go there till I had all of my doctors in aclose radius to each other. Really a professional clinic.
Terrible. It ain't nothing but a pill mill. They got u jumppinh through hoops and that's if u are chronically ill now if I had a car accident that is different subject
A couple of years worth of visits. The facility is always clean and tidy. The personnel have always been understanding and upfront.
Oh and I actually had one PA tell me what type of pain level I should be feeling with bluged discs. Told me that people have worse cases of bulged discs that hurt less. Amazing she could had the ability to know what my pain was like. What a joke.
It's made it hard on LEGITIMATE patients in need of their medication, as well as some pharmacies will not fill narcotic pain medication unless you're established with them.
They obviously are being paid to push a certain medicine. Everyone I saw when I was there had the same pamphlet of info on that drug. Everyone. With that said, the med gave me insomnia and did absolutely nothing yet they continued to prescribe it. I gave it a few months to see if it would work but never did. Again, they ignored all of my complaints but continued me on it.
There are the generalized appointments, where information is gone over and a check of how I'm holding up with the current situation. Sometimes a shift in medication or the decision to schedule an injection for my spine. When I say a decision, I am very much involved with the process.
They have been kind caring and thorough. Ordering new tests and imaging . Then fixing what can be fixed. Not just throwing pills with BS injections. They do real procedures. They are encouraging and really care about chronic pain sufferers. If you are trying to BS them...They have a really good BS detector. So, junkies need not apply.
So they are definitely getting kick back for prescribing it especially since there is no generic for it currently. So in short, they really don't care about if you are living with pain. They are making a killing by pushing that medicine. Yet another example of doctors and clinics not caring about a patient but caring about the all mighty dollar.
All in all, my experience has been a good one. I can't rate 5 stars because frankly I don't know if there is some other facility out there that is better. I've been to two in different states... this one was far more comfortable than the other.
And there was a couple of instances; I've had to find a pharmacy that had my medication(weird medication) in stock. Most of the time a phone call to the doctor, can help
The appointments where I get an injection I have found Dr McHugh to be the one who does my injections. He's professional and to the point. I've yet to have an experience where I felt like I didn't matter.
