I was referred to Dr. Vinson by Dr. Chris Mantel (who did an awesome job diagnosing my initial situation). By the time I saw Dr. Vinson, I was feeling helpless. I was glad that Dr. Mantel was able to tell me what I had and that I started taking some medication to help manage the problem but the question now was will I ever eat again. I was/am dealing with acid reflux. Dr. Vinson immediately made me feel comfortable, relaxed, comfortable and confident in her plan to help me get better. She set me up with an awesome team and I cannot say I am fully recovered but I have made progress in a positive direction. Dr. Vinson is the person you want on your team and I couldn't be more grateful for the other Doctors and Specialist working with me :). I strongly recommend Dr. Vinson for your care
P.S. If you get nauseous easily request a nausea patch prior to surgery. Trust me, it helps! I didn't feel sick to my stomach whatsoever.

Dr. Vinson provided one of the best doctor's visits I've ever had. She listens intently, doesn't make you feel foolish for asking questions, and strives to totally understand your symptoms and experiences. I didn't feel like a number or just another checkbox in her day. I truly cannot say enough about her professionalism and warmth.

The experience that I had with Dr. Vinson and her team deserves more than five stars in my opinion. After six cases of strep throat in one year, I finally decided to bite the bullet and get my tonsils removed. It is incredibly scary for a 25 year old - who was told that a tonsillectomy is one of the most painful surgeries for adults. However, with the amount of tonsilliths and sore throats I just couldn't take it anymore. Because of Dr. Vinson, the surgery went smoothly, and within FOUR days I was back to eating pizza and my favorite foods!!! (Although I wouldn't suggest trying to eat pineapple after...oops). Within a week I was back at work and healthy. Since the surgery - it's been about 10 months - I haven't been sick once! A girl who used to catch everything I feel incredibly thankful.
