Great home-cooking. The fried chicken and pork chops were delicious. I loved the fried cabbage. The mac and cheese was loved by my youngest, who is a picky eater. The strawberry lemonade complimented the meal and the pecan pie and chocolate cake was a great finally to our lunch!
Monells Cafe has the most delicious southern food in Nashville! Seriously go try it. You will thank me later. The chicken and dumplings is out of this world. Inside its very cozy and welcoming. The employees are great as well.

This modest little place has real comfort food like Mom and and Grandma make. And believe me, it tastes even better than it looks! The staff is friendly too. You'll have to fight for a parking place, but you will not be sorry! P.S. - Don't miss the best banana pudding ever!
Awesome food and great prices! The pancake plate was three pancakes, two eggs, four strips of bacon and a biscuit, that plus a sweet tea was only about eight and a half bucks! The place down the street that makes you cook your own food gives you half as much for twice the price! Best breakfast spot in Berry Hill, hands down.
