My opinion:
Our company made reservations to play at Top Golf before Christmas and we had a wonderful time! We had very mixed skill levels and we all found a game to do well! The technology is fastastic! Each ball has a GPS tracking chip.
An incredible banquet was set for us with prime rib, chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, appetizers, chocolate covered strawberries and so much more! Service was friendly and quick.
Once we got to our bay, we ordered more drinks and food. The service wasn't as great at the bay. Our server took a while to come and check on us throughout our golfing time, but the golfing experience itself was fun.
If you're looking for something to do and you've got a decent size group; this place, at the very least, will provide more than a few good laughs. Paired with an indoor bar, an awesome staff and a delectable selection of 'bar & grill' style food, I highly doubt you'll leave an unhappy guest.
For someone that has no idea how to golf, I had an absolute blast!
The golf is fun... the system doesn't register every shot, and the clubs they give you are below average, but it's a great concept. My main complaint is on the food and service. I truly have never seen slower service. On my list visit it took 17 minutes to get a beer from the bar after it was ordered (and my wife and I were sitting at The bar with it half empty). The only way to describe it is embarrassingly bad. It is a shame because this place has so much potential but is so disappointing...
Fun place to pass time with friends even for those of us who can't golf. Recommend putting your name of the list as soon as you walk in there's normally a wait time. My group was able to get in after about an hour and half. We headed to the bar and had food and drinks while we waited. I had the hot chicken sandwich and tater tots which I definitely recommend if you enjoy spicy food. The service was great at the bar.
I finally got a chance to check this place out last night while some friends and family were visiting from out of town. I've been wanting to go since before they opened but their $45/hr "5pm–Close" pricing has kept me from going at it alone. However, with a group of four or more, that $45/hr price tag becomes something you can easily afford.
The Top Golf company is new to me as it is for middle Tennessee. I was very impressed pulling in to the facility. Plenty of parking and had no issue finding a spot. Walking in you're greeted with someone to help guide you to where you need to go. Once outside, easily visible numbers show you were to go with a very well kept area for you to play While it was cold the night we were there it felt great in the open air course. The heaters kept it comfortable and the TV's and monitors were great to reference while you are waiting for someone else to go. Top Golf is an excellent addition to East Nashville and look forward to going back!
