I would have had a better time flushing $30 down the toilet. Awful to have waisted even 30 minutes of my birthday weekend in Nashville on this over priced, over hyped, dive.
NYC-transplanted menu-less cocktail bar in the heart of East. No vodka, either - just describe your spirit of choice + preferred flavor palette and you’ll get a tasty, original concoction served up. Sexy vibes, tasty beverages and opened late - but cocktails will run ya about $14/ea. Otherwise? A great experience!
I was floored that an employee would speak to a customer that way. And this wasn't my only complaint. The host was very disorganized and the whole establishment has an attitude of looking down on the clientele, as if to say they are better than you, or know more than you do. While that MIGHT be true, you should NEVER give off that impression.
Our server, who hadn't cracked a smile all night, came over and said, "excuse me, we put glasses on the table for a reason. What you just did was disgusting."
Horrible service. Above average cocktails. Pretentious and disinterested staff member ruined the experience. Never going back.
Most pretentious bar I think I've ever been to. While aspects of the night were good, it ended on such a bad note that I'll never go back.

Now, look, I realize I probably shouldn't have drunk straight from the bottle, but honestly, "disgusting?" Are you serious? The only reason it would be disgusting is if you planned on reusing that bottle for another customer without washing it, and THAT is disgusting. Otherwise, if you wash it, just like you wash the glasses and metal straws and forks and spoons, then who cares?
If I could give negative stars I would. Made to wait on a bench by the front door for a spot tip open at the bar. Ordered horribly overpriced cocktails while we waited. Saw 3 groups get sat at tables while we still remained on the bench. Figured it was because they were larger groups and we were a party of 2. Then 2 young girls walk in and get seated at the only 2 bar seats to just open up. When I asked, all I was told was that the server usually tells the hostess if we'd like a seat - BECAUSE A COUPLE WOULD CHOOSE TO SIT AT A BENCH BY THE FRONT DOOR OVER A COZY TABLE OR A BAR SEAT?!?!
After my group paid and left, my girlfriend decided to go back to the table to finish her glass of water. Thinking it was probably a good idea to do the same, I reached for the bottle of water that was on the table, and drank straight from it. Mind you, everyone was gone and had paid.
The bartender made a cocktail that quite literally spoke to my soul. Great vibe and great experience. We didn’t wait, but we also went early in the night. I’ve heard it can be much busier later in the evenings/weekends.
