Rippy’s...more like rip off. Me and 3 friends stopped in here for lunch on our vacation expecting good BBQ and instead we were served questionable food (dry pork, pulled chicken that tasted like old fish and homemade sweet Baby Rays) coupled with Stouffers mac & cheese. 5 hours later and we all are taking turns on the toilet. Do you love draft beer? Too bad. This dump only has bottles for some apparent reason. I had a better meal at Cookout the night before for half the price. Our waitress was nice to us the moment before she took our credit cards.
The food was absolutely phenomenal but the service was terrible. I’m honestly not one to write a bad review, in fact this is my first ever but after this evenings experience I really just had to. In all my country and world travels this by far was the worst and perhaps rudest encounter I’ve ever experienced. I understand people have things going on in their life and I completely understand and respect that though I was never made to feel so rude and insignificant with your bartender Amber this evening. I’m sorry if you’re going through any sort of dilemma in life though please don’t treat your customers how you treated my wife and I this evening. Terrible service. I don’t mean to insult you but you represent a company and your actions tonight make the name of rippys somewhere I honestly will never recommend to the many coworkers, friends and family I know that visit often. Cool spot. Sampler platter hit the spot for two of us. All enjoyed with live music of course! There were three stages playing music and tons of seating in the place. Went late afternoon weekday.
Food was good. Music was good. The no backpack rule sure made things difficult, and they won't let 'em in, even though they search everything.
Fair warning, they scan you before coming in with a metal detector. I like the added safety of it. There were also police stationed there after 8ish?
Live bands in every room, delicious food, awesome atmosphere. We sang and dance to music for hours! Also had a great server who made us feel welcome. All of the staff in general was very nice.
