We should have turned around when they were making us pay $10 for parking in the back ($20 if you wanted to park out front). We should have turned around when they asked for $20 as an entry fee between myself and the person I came with. Then it was another $18-$22 for 1 round of hookah + a $10 refill... Not to mention the DJ who’s music was blasting way too loud. If you want to spend A LOT of money, feel like you’re in a club, and not chill the same way you would at most hookah bars - this is the place for you.
Nice looking bar/lounge. They have nice food options and a variety of drink options as well. There are some really nice drink specials as well. It sometimes is a little loud in here but I asked the manager and he said they are about to revamp the sound system so it's more even throughout the bar which allow for a little better conversation. Overall I'd say if you're in Nashville, it's definitely worth a visit.
Me and a friend went into Cloud IX on a Tuesday night around 9:30pm for Tacos & Tequila. I seen the place advertise on Instagram and this was our first time there. There was 2-4-1 margaritas, $10 pitchers of margaritas, and $3 tacos. There isn’t much parking and they originally wanted to charge $5 for parking, but instead we followed suit of others and parked across the street in the bank parking lot. There was no cover charge to get in. We walked in and my first impression was it was kinda small, yet a cute little place. They had DJ Chill and a Guy on the drums but I didn’t catch his name. We sat down on the couch at first but got ignored by the waitress so we grabbed a seat at the bar. We were never given a menu. We asked for a menu and I guess the bartender forgot so I got up to grab one from elsewhere. The bartender acknowledged us once to get our drink order. We had a pitcher of strawberry margaritas for $10. The drink was horrible. It just gave us a headache, no buzz and the flavor was not good. The bartender never acknowledged us again, never checked on us, and never asked if we needed anything. I was annoyed by the lack of attentiveness of the bartender because I wanted to order a different drink, but instead I just tried to enjoy the music and atmosphere. Well, that didn’t work either. DJ Chill sucked as a DJ. He was jumping all over with the songs and at some points would just stop the music all together out of nowhere, messing up the groove. I wasn’t feeling the drummer who was trying to drum along with the songs but always sounded off. I really tried to enjoy this place but the lack of service and the terrible DJ turned me off. Don’t think I’ll be returning to Cloud IX.
Cloud IX has an atmosphere the produces a feeling people can vibe to. The food makes the establishment have a restaurant taste while having music that expands through multiple genres. The Hookah was great as that completed my experience, and I most definitely will go back. Thank you Deshun for the recommendation, and I recommend being a lady to enjoy the night.
They are horrible... Charged us 20 dollars for 20 mins and me and 5 other people... Went inside bought a drink and the lights came on.. We like .. I know y'all are not about to close... They wouldn't even give us our money back... Or nothing... We from out of town...never go back there... Bad business..
