Everyone at VOS is great. Dr Huskey and the rest of the staff explained everything in detail. They were very compassionate and kind to my Boston Terrier. She had one eye removed and had a cataract removed from the other. She is doing fine now.
I always thought this practice was fantastic, but after moving out of state I realize just how outstanding they really are. Everything from the facility to the support staff are top notch. My dog had a very serious systemic illness, and neither my dog nor I could have gotten through it without Dr. Huskey's intelligence, confidence, and empathy. Without a doubt the best medical practice - animal or human - I have ever encountered.
Now if they can help my Young cat. She's blind,working on medication....Be back after next appointment ,to give or take back my stars.
These are absolutely the best Ophthalmology Specialists in the Tri-State area. They have treated my dog for about 3 years for different problems and they are wonderful. If your dog has an eye problem, don't hesitate, make that short drive to Nashville to see them, plus, you do not have to drive into the city. They are on this side, just off I-65..
My dog suddenly grew an eye wart that was growing bigger by the day. He had to have it surgically removed before it impeded his eye. I was very nervous considering he has a heart murmur. Dr Huskey did a great job and the surgical area looks very well healed and shows a proficient and competent attention to detail. Val, the vet tech was absolutely AMAZING. Surgery is nerve wracking but this duo did a fantastic job!!
