I live right by this practice and could have become a very loyal, regular client - but after this experience, I'm taking my business elsewhere.
The staff and doctors are very friendly and polite! They even squeezed us in when we thought our dog had a urinary tract infection, knowing how painful that was. After the second visit, with no improvement with her UTI, we got x-rays and discovered she had bladder stones. We were quoted 1,700 for the bladder stone removal alone. Long story short , we took her to Animal House, and received the same surgery , plus dental extractions, plus fixing a umbillical hernia, for 200 less that we were quoted here. The staff here are very nice and friendly, but it is not the easiest option for your wallet , I would make sure to get second opinions when it comes to surgeries.
Brought my guinea pig Zuzu in today. She had a scrap on her eye and it needed to be treated ASAP. They got us in the same day and were the cheapest vet for guinea pigs in our area. The staff was very nice and helpful and Dr. Harper was great as well. Will be bringing all my exotic pets back here! I highly recommend going here for any pet!
To add to it, I called them back about not getting the discount honored. They said I didn't fill out an online form. I told them I had mentioned the discount on the phone and was not told I need to fill out a form, nor does their website indicate such. They refused to do anything about it and were incredibly rude. So not only was I incredibly overcharged, I did not receive the discount that they proudly advertise online.
Good staff they will show how much they care about your pet
It was time to put my cat down, he's been with me for 20 years and his quality of life was declining. The staff was amazing, caring compassionate knowledgable and most importantly non judgmental. I would recommend this vet to anyone
Not pleased with this practice. I called this hospital for an emergency appointment for my cat who'd scratched her eye. When I called, I mentioned their website listed a " new client 50% discount on exam fee for cats and dogs." I mentioned this on the phone, made an appointment at 5pm, and was there at 5:30pm. First off, they did an eye staining test that was an additional $35.. what?! They did not mention this... nor can I fathom how this eye test costs almost as much as a complete exam. The doctor then prescribed and sold an antibiotic ointment to put in my cat's eye. After paying and leaving, I noticed that 1) they had not honored the 50% discount and 2) I was wayyyyy overcharged for the antibiotic! Over double! Online, this antibiotic goes for about $13, and they charged me $39!!! What?!
