LOVE THIS PLACE, THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, MY PETS LOVE IT HERE, PRICES SEEM TO HAVE WENT UP, COMPARED TO OTHER PLACES IN HERMITAGE, BUT OVERALL, I LIKE BOTH VETS ALOT, THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND ARE GOOD AT IT...THE STAFF TREATS YOUR FUR BABIES VERY AWESOME... I DON'T TRUST MINE WITH ANYONE OTHER THAN THEM...
The doctor is quite competent and can explain everything to you. They have dogs, birds, and cats at this location. An interesting point is that I bring my pets here after I spent many years at this same location visiting my pediatrician.
We had been taking our little dog there for several years...also getting him groomed monthly. I won't go into details, but we had a bad experience with the lady vet. We took our concerns to the main vet and he did nothing to accommodate...didn't seem to care if we went elsewhere so we did.
I have been coming to Two Rivers Vet for almost 7 years. Dr. Schlabach is wonderful !! He is very caring, and really takes time with you as a pet parent, to explain exactly what's going on with your pet baby, and what needs to be done. He takes time to listen to your concerns and gives you his advice. He has been a blessing and a wonderful friend and caregiver to my pet baby. He also used modern laser surgery on her instead of a scalpel, which was FANTASTIC....no down time and no pain. I hope more vets will start doing this instead of the old fashioned way of cutting and wound healing, when possible. His wife is nice, and the rest of the staff is very caring. I would highly recommend this vet to take great care of your pet baby! Also the other lady vet there is kind and good as well. I've taken my pet to her when he was not available. Wonderful place to take care of your pets throughout their lives!! :):)
We've been going to Dr. Schlabach for a couple of years and have been very impressed. He is super knowledgeable and he takes the time to explain things to you as a pet parent and gives you options for each scenario that could happen. I feel like we have had better care here, and learned more about our pet's health than we did in 5 years at our previous vet. I would highly recommend Two Rivers Animal Hospital.
