My sweet dog developed a rapidly growing mass, that ended up being blood cancer. We saw Dr. Good during our ER trip, and he helped us get in quickly with Dr. Vancil (the oncologist) the next morning (and let us keep our baby at home overnight). The whole process was very loving, and ever doctor and nurse we worked with seemed genuinely concerned for our Nelhy. They even called her sweet nick names like love bug, and teared up when sharing bad news. They all were up front about costs, prognosis changes, realistic options, and honest feedback. I felt like they all were working hard to save Nelhy, and give us more time. In the end, we know we don't have a lot of time with her, but are able to pick her up today and do hospice at home. Thank you for all that you do for our loved pets, NVS! You made me feel like my dog was your only client you had all week, and took a genuine concern for her and my family. You all were truly a blessing to us during this very scary time!
I brought my dog, Max in for seizures. They immediately took him back for care as soon as I walked in the door. Dr. Clark, Dr. Good and staff were amazing and kind. Very sensitive to my needs and my dogs needs. Very patient when I kept calling with questions. Never pressured me to spend a ton of money and were very honest about what they thought was wrong. I think they are all amazing, kind and understanding. I am thankful they were there for me and I felt relief that I had 24/7 access to them while we went through these seizures with max. Thank you for being there for us and for your kindness:)
They are incredible here!
We called on December 25, yeah Christmas Day. Our old dog (12-year old lab mix) got bitten by our scrappy, scared, 3-year old "puppy" with issues. It was a bad bite above her right front leg, and a good bite on her right rear leg. When we got there it wasn't a long wait. But they were polite, efficient, and you could sense a caring feeling. They told us it would be over 3 hours to sedate her and do the surgery. We went back home and they called, as promised, after about 3 hours. We went back and they had stitched and stapled our old girl back to one piece. They gave us post-op instructions and the care itself was great. I would not hesitate to take my dogs back if they ever needed emergency care again!
Would like to thank the staff and Dr for being so thoughtful and sympathetic as our furbaby was put down today. If ever we need emergency help for our animals. It will definitely be this place. Thank you for caring.
Took my cat here at 4am and was expecting to spend over $100 just to be seen. Their fee was very reasonable though. They walked me through all my options, explaining all costs associated with each treatment since I told them up front I was a tight on money. I spent around $140, which included an IV treatment and some meds and told me I could come back in a couple days if he wasn't better and they would waive the up front fee. Everyone was super nice and I have since called them twice just for advice.
