Negligent. Then later found him watching the football game instead of customers -
Great service and wonderful atmosphere! The food never disappoints!
o One set of customers left - no one came to clean and reset the vacated table. Ever.
o One apparent cook (wearing an apron under a sports hoodie, guess that's part of the official uniform) ducked into the bathroom to check his phone before weaving back in and out of the kitchen with a non-uniformed individual.
GM, you are paying too much in salary to have such poor staff. Would have gladly accepted less quality food for better service.
o +++ One genuine all-star was coaching and teaching another junior waiter throughout. Unfortunately he is surrounded by peers who have the motivation of a dead fish.
Waiter pleasant but did just enough to say he did his job: 3/5.
Food acceptable: 2/5.
Confusing.
Unfocused. Finally got around to lighting the rest of the candles after 30 minutes post-light dimming; stood completely consumed/mesmerized and staring at one candle for a hot minute before moving on -
Service noticeably inefficient. Factors:
We ordered the honey chicken and Buddha vegetables. It was really good! The chicken is crisp to perfection. It also has crispy noodles. The Buddha vegetables has tiny asparagus. This was our first visit, we were impressed! ☺
The food and the deserts were delicious, really good. The waitress was kind but could be better.
o In spite of few customers, noticeable delay in entree delivery throughout the dining room. See below comments for possible reasons.
o Weak and undisciplined staff. Front desk was too busy playing on her phone and jamming out to the music to notice we had arrived. Didn't know what table to take us to, probably because she wasn't paying attention to the floor. Later left the restaurant, her back turned to the front door/had no idea we left or that someone new had walked in.
o Shift manager (?) lighting candles wandered around haphazardly, skipped several tables -
Really nice atmosphere....our waiter Brady was great! The food was good and the portions were more than most places serve.
