We love Calypso and have for years. The west location doesn't disappoint in the least, save for maybe not having the hours I wish for.
Been around Nashville area for over 30 years. Good food. Fair pricing. Always dependable. Good friendly service. They need to turn up the heat more in winter.
The food here is fresh, delicious and well-priced. They have had the same staff for years and they are all very attentive and extremely nice. I highly recommend this place.
Food was excellent. Made me feel like I was on vacation on a beach somewhere. Atmosphere was eh but my aestetic tastes are not like most hip Nashville people. Location isn't ideal. Fairly sketchy area. But I'd definitely go back and likely will because the food (which is really all that matters) was delicious and inexpensive. *****
The sign at the road is quite visible and it marks the slightly hidden driveway very well. The food is excellent as well as the staff.
Our whole stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious, except for our baby's cheese wedges. We thought they would be wedges of cheese. Instead, they were two small pitas with melted cheese in between. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.
