Family of 4 waited 85 minutes to get our food, after ordering. Other tables that showed up 20 minutes after us had their food while we waited. If I had known that my breakfast would take that long, I would have ordered lunch. A few fans to cool it down and drive away the flies would make the wait more pleasant as well. Food is good, but not worth the wait.
Their brunch menu is one of the best in the city; criminally underrated. Their lunch is also very good, but their dinner is lacking. They have appropriate dishes/portions for breakfast and dinner, but when you're in the mood for something heartier and more mature for dinner, Jackson's probably isn't the place unless you're stopping for drinks/appetizers.
Was in stopping in town and a friend suggested we go there for lunch. My omelette was great. The cheese grits were some of the best I've ever had and the service was really good. She also had their pineapple mimosa and one of their flavored margaritas. They were also amazing. 10/10 would go to again.
Jackson's will never make you wait in line. That is, their menu is delicious and the wait staff are wonderful, but this place is underrated enough that they won't make you wait out the door like Hattie B's or Pancake Pantry.
Again, their service is 5 out of 5. Their atmosphere is also relaxing yet still upbeat.
Overall a 9 outta 10. Great drinks, cool neighborhood, service fits the resturant, everything is customizable
Good veggies bowl and cornbeef. Rainy afternoon was a good idea for a quick bite. Nice waitress. Simple place. I would rate 3.5 because the coffee wasn't great and the bowl did not need that much of sauce.
