Food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and hot!! My friend and I ordered the galbi and an appetizer of gyoza, and it was spectacular. Generous portions, lots of side dishes (the potato salad had apple, so good!), and the wait time was good despite being such a busy night. It is VERY expensive, but it is fresh quality food with a good amount, so it is justified. I am only taking one star off because our waitress did not check on us for drinks the entire time, and I had to share some of my friend's coke. She only came for a refill right after we had finished our meal (about 25 minutes later). All in all, amazing authentic Korean food, but go ahead and order two drinks.

This place was absolutely delicious. The spicy pork was slightly sweeter than what we're used to, but the taste was nice and spicy. A ton of meat and very little veggies, they're definitely not being cheap.
Great place with great food. Love the Korean ladies who serve the food, they're very friendly. We usually get 2 big pots for 5 people. It's more than enough for us. It's not that expensive if you divide it up, considering they've free refill on rice and plates.
Talk about authentic Korean Food in Nashville! This gem of a place tucked into an old shopping center offers the best Korean I have had in Nashville. Granted that the city is a little bit behind on far east delicacies. One server (Ayten) really made the experience even more authentic with her bubbly straightforward/nonchalant approach to customers which I really enjoyed! Keep up the good work Hai Woon Dai.
I was afraid that being so far from the water, that their stir fry octopus wouldn't be fresh, but it was! I also got their shredded beef soup yukgaejang. It came out steaming hot, just how I like it. A hair under seasoned, but it was still good.
The food was pretty authentic for Korean cuisine. Out of all the different Korean restaurants I've been to in Nashville, this one is probably the closest to what a real Korean meal is like. While other establishments might cater to the common "American" palette, this place remains true to its roots.
