I paid the wrong pay station for parking in the Park Happy lot. The ticket Park Happy gave me acknowledges this. I would have paid the Park Happy station if I saw it before I saw the station 15 feet away in the adjacent lot, but it was a simple mistake of not seeing the station. Obviously this is a common error since Pay Happy has the offense set up as "Paid incorrect pay station" on their ticket. The fee I paid for parking was $5. The fee Park Happy is charging me is $56, which is a pretty high bit of extortion for a simple mistake. I checked the BBB site and there are 129 complaints about Park Happy, many similar to mine. I will be #130. The BBB site suggested that Park Happy wants to hear from people with complaints, but I've heard nothing back from them after I offered to the normal fee for parking in their lot. Be very careful about parking in one of their lots. Avoid it at all costs if you can. Park Happy is a bad business run by swindlers.
I have contacted their online customer service twice and they will not reply. I paid for parking and they did not see my ticket displayed and gave me a fine. I have offered to email them a copy of my ticket, but cannot get them to reply. Come on guys, how hard is it to reply to an email or to call me back?
My daughter made a mistake and parked in one of the Park Happy spots in downtown Franklin behind her place of employment. These were brand new paid spaces, that had been free until that week, so the mistake was understandable. She received a $38 fine for that. Ok, whatever. But then when going on the Park Happy site to pay the fine, they tacked another $3 on it as a "Service Fee". Really?? I'm sure they'd say there is no fee to mail in a check, but come on. Most reputable businesses no longer charge fees to pay by card. Going forward, I will circle downtown for half an evening looking for a free spot before giving this outfit any more of my money.
I tried paying twice, the machine kept showing “out of service “ so I couldn’t wait there all night to pay. When I got back to my car I got a parking violation ticket for 62$, the parking was only 3$ and it’s amazing how the machine didn’t work but domeone was there to check right after I left . It’s nothing but a scam. I emailed them and still haven’t heard back from them.
Used a Park Happy parking garage in Nashville, TN on July 29, 2017. I originally purchased a ticket at 10:02 AM which was good until 1:32 PM. At 1:18 PM, before the other ticket expired, I purchased a ticket that was good until 2:48 PM. When I returned to my truck, I had a parking violation ticket which was issued at 1:43 PM!!?!?!?! On August 1st. I contacted the company via their web site. Entered all information into it. I received a auto response e-mail that day saying someone would contact me soon. It is now August 3rd and I have gotten no response from the company. Awful. And I'm not paying the ticket.
