We were quickly seated at a table (a good start!), but we then waited nearly 10 minutes before our waitress finally came to take our drink and appetizer order. It was then nearly 5 more minutes after that before we had our waters, and another 10 minutes before she came back to take our food orders. At this point, we had been at our table for *25 minutes*, and the only thing we had was a couple of waters.
Absolutely amazing service and delicious food. Morgan did such a great job and I clearly felt valued. I can't say enough about this delicious restaurant and outstanding service!
When our food finally arrived, we asked for some additional ranch dressing to go with the buffalo wings. The lady that dropped our food off said she would get them, but then never returned, and our waitress was nowhere to be seen.
Our waitress only stopped at our table once or twice more during our meal. She would walk right by us, but it was like she was actively avoiding looking at us to see if we needed anything (like more water for our empty glasses).
Our appetizer (just some chips and spinach dip!) and my wife's salad didn't arrive for almost 10 more minutes. And we still hadn't seen our waitress.
My wife and I had lunch at this TGI Fridays last week. It was, without a doubt, the worst service we've ever had at a TGI Fridays. I do realize that Friday at lunch is a busy time for this place, but that doesn't excuse poor service.
If you're looking for somewhere to eat at Opry Mills, skip this TGI Fridays, and find somewhere else.
We also began to notice that we weren't the only people having a bad experience. One table was visibly frustrated while waiting for their check. Another family (about 8 people) got a couple of their entrees, and was left sitting there for 5 to 10 minutes while they waited for the rest of them, which continued to trickle out one or two at a time.
Good food, usually good service! The bartenders are usually great especially Charles. Best deals sitting at the bar.
My best friend and I went to Opry Mills Mall as we often do and she chose TGI Friday's. We arrived 11:30am not busy at all. We were seated drink order placed. We decided to split appetizer sampler for our meal. Food was good no issues. The wait was a little long considering not many people was was there. My bff then ordered a half brownie dessert. 20-30 minutes later it finally arrived. Well needless to say very disappointed it was raw very raw couldn't even cover that up with ice cream. So I explained to the waiter he charged us for a whole brownie and the one we received was raw. He says "I will fix it" my friend says can you please split the check as well. He then snatched the bill and walked off slammed it down by register. Took another 20 minutes to get bill. It took us 1 hour 20 minutes for an appetizer and raw dessert that we were still charged for. I spoke with manager all she offered was an apology. Are you kidding me??? I was happy to pay for my food which was good but the raw brownie we couldn't even eat and such poor service never again!!!!!
TGI Friday’s is one of my favorite restaurant to eat at; and I have eaten at the Opry Mills locations several times, I eat the same thing every time and it is very good. However the manager on duty Selina is not very good at all with customer care or customer service. I am a General Manager of a very large company and customer care/ satisfaction is a main goal of mine to obtain. Went out of her way to argue with the customer instead of trying to fix the solution. But on a happy note; the bartender David was very good at his job and his drink were on point. His attitude was wonderful- so if you are going to go to TGI Friday’s I recommend you sit at the bar.
