Absolutely horrendous customer service. I ordered two smoke alarms from them online and it’s been 10hrs now (24hr store) and they still have not been able to get the order ready. I spoke to multiple employees who either hung up or said they couldn’t find the smoke detectors. I then asked them to find any two smoke alarms and I’ll just take those. It’s an absolute nightmare. I need them ready for pickup because i have a messenger coming to get them so i can’t have them messing around when he gets there. Can’t get a manager on the phone to sort it out either. This is way too easy of a task to have screwed up so badly and taking 10-11hrs to complete. Don’t offer pickup if you can’t handle it!
This store is great until it's time to check out. ONE register open plus the self check out. I had too many items for the self check out so I was stuck. Only 3 people ahead of me, no more than 10 items each and it took me more than 20 minutes on line! This was all due to the cashier who was intentionally slow. At one point she even walked away from the register, without a word to her line of customers, and slowly walked over to ask presumably for another cashier to open. She wouldn't have needed the other cashier if she moved at anything other than a snails pace. She would take breaks between ringing items to snack on some nuts and she said NO WORDS to any customers. Just stared at customers when she finished ringing their items. No saying what the total is, nothing. Who trains these people? Who allows them to remain employed? I suggest that Wal Mart create self service check outs that can handle larger amounts of items and get rid of the cashiers altogether if this is the only type of people they can find to work their registers. By the way, this was a young girl, no handicaps and no reason to be moving so slowly other than total disrespect of her customers and her employer. I tried to see her name, but her tag was on backwards. Mistake? I doubt it. IF I return I will be sure to only purchase a few items so I don't have to be subjected to this type of aggravation again.
It's nice and right off the highway. It has a different layout than stores here in East NC
Clean location and well stocked. I normally go there late at night so there's no large lines. I don't have trouble getting anyone to come cut fabric for me even late at night which I appreciate very much. The associates I have encountered are welcoming and friendly.
