I like shopping here. The Costco people mostly leave you alone, other than the DirectTV guy lurking by the entrance. I don't think I've been down that aisle in years. Anyway...it's good to buy in bulk and stock the freezer. The meats are of good quality and I like their deli/meat counter. I feel like it's a good value.
Nothing bad can be said about the Charlotte Pike Costco. It's always clean, well stocked, and has plenty of people roaming to help you with something. I'm particular about produce and meats and go here because I've never seen any wilted or spoiled product. The bakery is huge, the specials (like on Black Friday and Christmas) are always worth the trip. For large families this place will save you THOUSANDS of dollars compare to buying products at grocery or department stores like Walmart or Save a Lot. You will only find double/quadruple pack, economy/family size portions here because you save money with the larger portion sizes. But you will always find the price per ounce/pound less here than Kroger.
Great value; engaged and friendly work staff. Gas prices always below the average. Today it was $2.12 when others are $2.39-2.59.
Great prices and quality on food, household items, and gift cards!!! Crowded but somewhat expected. Best times seem to be weekdays prior to 2 p.m.
This Costco is nice but the customer service compared to other Costco locations leaves a lot to be desired. It is mostly the cashier supervisor (male who most recently worked on 11/25/2017) has consistently been lacking customer service skills that should be required at a retail store environment. I will travel the extra distance to go to Franklin when I need products that Sam's does not stock. This cashier supervisor cost Costco a regular $300-$400 a week customer. Not a lot in the grand scheme of things but a few more will lead to a few more.....
