Simpson's ordered the parts and repaired our car quickly! They even saved us some money as the initial assessment we brought to them was wrong. They communicate well, are helpful and fair. Can't beat that!
Don't go. I dropped my 6year old car off for an oil change and power steering leak, and never made it home. I was told it was an 'unfortunate coincidence' that my transmission blew on that same day. After years of spending hundreds on repairs (within days of oil changes) I just don't believe anything out of their mouths. The new shop has state of the art equipment and this sabotage can easily be done while your car is with them for an 8 hour oil change. When I called from the side of the road after picking it up from the shop and shared how it was very similar to a bike chain breaking (transmission, duh) I got a very dramatic 'I have no idea what that could be.
Great shop with a nice lounge. They fixed our tire quickly and got us back on our way, and everyone was extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend this shop.
The sensor connections were cut causing the gears to grind and blow the transmission. Being 'friends' with the owners for the few years I've been using them, I was hoping that they would do the right thing. They have not, so here's your review, internet. Take from it what you want, but this is what happened to me and Phillip Simpson could give two sh*ts that he's left me stranded with three kids to take care of alone AND figure out how to fix this $4000+ damage that was done on purpose.
My son's car died suddenly in rush hour on 65. Tow truck dropped it at Simpsons. Without discussing diagnosis, they replaced alternator. ($476). Go to pick up after hours, and won't start, but alarm goes off (evidently they did not reset alarm). Said it was the key ($160). Oh...still won't work. Needs a new computer ($800).....really. Call to discuss later....oh, we just fixed a short. Car is still lit up like a Christmas tree with electrical problems.
Great place to do business. Very professional and reasonable wait time. Very impressed with the service received at this facility. def. recommend this place for car repairs.
