I called the day before and set up an appointment for an oil change at 1 o’clock. I did that because I had a busy day and I wanted to schedule things like a normal human being would. I showed up at 1 o’clock and they said they would be able to squeeze me in in the next 45 minutes and proceeded to tell me that it was a first come first serve sort of operation. I wish the guy who I spoke to on the phone the previous day had told me that because I would’ve found someplace else. Now I have to go on a 2000 mile road trip without getting an oil change before I leave because these people cannot communicate correctly with their customers.
I was a little skeptical at first about coming to Pep Boys, but after getting a diagnostic test and everything else, I couldn't have been more happy about thorough test and overall customer experience. Cody was very knowledgeable, and understanding about our crazy car situation. In the future, we will definitely be comi my back for any car needs. ☺
Vis was an absolute horrible experience. This was my 1st time coming to Pep Boys and I made an appointment the day before I arrived. I made the appointment for an early morning time slot because I had to go to work and I drive for my job every day. I arrived 10 minutes early and the guy told me it was gonna be about 15 to 20 minutes before they could get started on the car because there was another car ahead of me. I was OK with that. what I wasn't OK with, was the fact that it took 2 and a 1/2 hours to do an oil change and to rotate my tires. It made me way late to work and not only did this issue happen, but 15 minutes after leaving the shop my tire light on my car came on saying I had low air pressure. I pulled over to check the tires and the rear tires both had 3 screws in them and were leaking air like crazy. Where I was at the time was near a fire stone so I had to stop at Firestone to have them check the tires and patch them real quick. Well when I arrived at Firestone they showed me the tires and they said it looked like the screws had been screwed into the actual tire not ran over. They also said that because of the treadwear on my current tires they were not able to patch them. So then I was forced to go to a used tire shop down the road and buy 2 used tires to get me by because I don't have the money 2 days before Christmas to purchase new tires. When I called Pep Boys about the issue you they said it wasn't their fault and there's nothing they can do about it, yet the air pressure light came on 15 minutes after leaving their shop and Firestone confirmed that it looked like screws had been screwed into the tire. I find it hard to believe that 2 tires got 5 screws Toto into them 15 minutes after leaving the tire shop that did the tire rotation an oil change on my car and they just happen to be screwed in not looking like they ran over. I will never do business with this place again.
Great place to have my new car maintained. Great customer service skills. Will refer this location to my friends and family
