Scott has incredible service, extremely knowledgeable, and helpful! Top notch operation!

Recently, my 13 year old needed a new mountain bike. We planned out a route that would cover us getting to most of the areas bike shops over an afternoon; so that we could cover as many brands as possible. Our first stop was Trace Bikes. I had no preconceived notions, other than I had heard “they’re really expensive” a few times from random people.

When we picked up the bike, the staff spent plenty of time with us explaining things and never made us feel rushed. They answered questions, made minor adjustments to things like seat height, and tire pressure, to suit us.

We were greeted courteously, but not overrun by anyone. There was the offer to help, without any pressure. We worked with a lady talking through the different options in the price range that had budgeted. She was extremely knowledgeable, and gave us excellent guidance. We continued on to other shops, who were all also friendly and helpful, but something about the experience there felt right as the place to buy the bike. Although they didn’t have the exact model we were looking for, they did order it for us and had it ready pretty quick.

At the store we were treated well by a majority of the staff. They were helpful and took care of our every needs. Unfortunately there was one employee who targeted my younger children with me by yelling at them when they touched anything and blaming them for a biking light that was on in the store. I understand that he is doing his job, but the way he treated us was a very poor reflection on his character and Trace Bikes.

For the last 15 months, I've been on a 48-state bicycle journey so am in bicycle shops regularly. During those travels, I've had two occasions to do business with Trace Bikes and have experience none better. Owners Michelle and Scott Turner are themselves avid cyclists, as are all other members of their expert team. Their store is well stocked, their prices are reasonable and they treat all customers with respect and compassion. Bottom line: They've earned my highest recommendation!

Outstanding customer service! Came in from Kansas City and needed to rent a mountain bike for a friend who wanted to ride but didn't have his bike. The rental experience was top notch and it was a really good bike for the $$. When I realized I had left my shoes at home, they let me borrow a pair of flat pedals! Before that, they even entertained letting me borrow a pair of their personal shoes, but they were too small. Great shop with great people. Cheers form KC!

A great experience all the way around. I highly recommend this shop.
