Absolutely love this place. Have been many times & hope to return many more. Enjoy seeing new & upcoming performers, almost as much as the the ones I know & love. Another thing I love about the Opry is how friendly everyone is from the staff to other members of the audience. The last time I was there was at the generosity of local radio station W98.6, very unexpectedly while at work one afternoon I checked my voicemail to find I had won tickets to the Opry for that evening. Called a friend & planned to leave as soon as I got off. I work customer service & unfortunately was delayed getting off on time & live about 80 miles away, the message left telling me I won also told me what time the show started & that I needed to pick up my tickets by about 45 min prior to the show, so as soon as I could I called the Opry to see if we could pick them up later but the phone in the ticket office was busy. Took a shot & called the gift shop #, the lady I spoke to couldn't have been nicer, she told me it was no problem she'd go over & let them know we were coming & to please drive safely. There really are angels among us. When we got there we kinda expected to be told sorry we gave your tickets away, but no they were waiting for us. The usher walked us right to our seats at the very back, second to the last row to be exact. The couple sitting at the end of the row greeted us with a smile & joked we saved your seats. Before long the people in the row behind us & the couple beside us were like family we were all singing along & having a blast. Even being in the very back we had a great view of the stage. The only bad thing was that it had to come to an end. Thanks W98.6 & The Grand Old Opry for a wonderful time provided in the best southern manner possible.

There isn't much that's off limits. Super interesting tidbits. Loved seeing the dressing rooms, the mailboxes, the entrance where the country singers come in. How humble they are kept. Next visit will include a show.

The show was great. We paid good money for good seats... However the actual seat that you sit in is a church pew! Not comfortable! And don't get up during the show - the pews are so close together you WILL step on toes!

Aside from stunning performances there's Cirque shows, and when I was there, snow tubing! Kettle corn vendors were at full tilt. Great large guitars & old timey face board available for photo ops.

Superb. Our tour guide, other than Blake Shelton via video, was a delightful older woman whose husband had been one of the musicians for the G.O.O.

What can I say about the Grand old Opry! it's country music at its best , we didn't have the best seats, but it was still a great show, I would highly recommend coming to see a show if you're in the neighborhood, and a music fan at all, its a classic, time-honored tradition! With great country music artists of many varieties, from bluegrass to contemporary to gospel! Loved it!
