Great experience! Everybody from the owner on down was very nice. The movers got lost but once they got there, they went straight to work. They were very efficient, got that truck loaded like pros. And the price can't be beat. I will use them again if I need movers & you should too!
They were really fun to work with, very efficient and took great care with my stuff. Not to mention they were $45/hour LESS than the other movers I called. I would honestly pay $45/hour MORE to use Catfish again!
I can't begin to describe how AWESOME these guys were! I never thought I would say I enjoyed moving, but these guys made it that way.
Catfish does offer competitive pricing, however it comes at a price. I have used him twice. When I moved from my business, he told me he had moved pianos before and could move my steinway grand. I should have used a piano mover. Catfish grabbed a hammer and banged it into one of the piano legs to remove it. It was sticking, so he picked up a hammer without any protection between the hammer and the piano leg and before I could stop him, he put a gouge in my piano leg. Even his co-workers that were with him asked him what he was thinking. I don't know what he was thinking! I thought maybe that was just an isolated incident. I later decided to use him again, thinking I could save money and surely I wouldn't have any more situations like I did with the piano. Unfortunately, he banged a dresser in to my fairly new walnut bed that I paid $3500 + for from Room and Board. This was AFTER I asked him to be carful of the new bed. He banged it once and and I mentioned it to him and I was concerned. He ended up banging it a few more times and there are marks on it. I mentioned the marks to him and he was evasive about it. I don't even know that he carries insurance. He is careless and I will NEVER use him again! The savings in money is NOT worth the cost in damages!!! I should have learned the first time when he used a hammer on the leg of my grand piano!
Had 2 moving companies BAIL on me this past weekend.....called up CATFISH at 3pm on Sunday afternoon and he had a crew out to me in the Boro by 5pm! NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL SERVICE.....the crew he sent were very nice and professional.....they did not stop working from the time they got there till the time that they left and on top of it all, their prices beat any other moving company out there!!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that I know for moving services.......THANK YOU SO MUCH CATFISH FOR YOU AND YOUR CREW!!
