I am very pleased with copies of The Holy Bible - New King James Version - which come from Thomas Nelson Inc..
Decided to pick up 1941 - a book written by Craig Shirley - an account of the month of December of 1941 (and events of Pearl Harbor). As a retired US History Instructor, and Bible Scholar I thought it would be a fun read. The book focuses in on some general media publicans of the time, including press releases, newspaper accounts, and document that were released by the government. Really helps one understand some of the media bias, government propaganda, and various policies of the time.
The sell books and do not care about their neighbors. They have dumped on my property before in the past. Not Christains at all.

Not sure why the writer of this book gets some of the basic details mixed up - and when he does it makes the book less authentic. One Example is when he refers to the Sabbath as being Sunday? Everyone knows in the Bible - and in the Christian world we refer to Sunday as the "Lords Day" - and Saturday as described in the Bible as the Sabbath. This happens several times in the first two hundred pages. This mistake makes me wonder if some of the other general interpretations are full of flaws? Maybe the writer is a mixed up Catholic that has never read the Bible, or have first hand knowledge of the Ten Commandments, or the reference to the "Sabbath" in both testaments? But nonetheless - this is an entertainment read and help put you back into 1941 as this nation moved from isolationism to world leadership.
