Our favorite bookstore. Everyone is friendly here, and we often find ourselves talking with other customers about books they like. They've created a special place that is captivating at any age.
This independently owned bookstore is awesome. The store is in a nice location, neat and clean, and carries a wide variety of books.
Beautiful store with a great selection, friendly staff, and always host events for book signings and promotions. They have some more obscure stuff too which was a nice surprise. The only major complaint is that there isn't enough of it. It's a small store but they make great use of what they have. Also, if i was a kid still, I would love their kids section.
They host multiple types of events including author signings. The staff is very friendly and helpful, from suggesting books to informing readers of visiting authors when noticing them perusing their books.
Thank goodness for Parnassus! I love having a real bookstore nearby. Everyone that works there is a ninja-level reader and can point you to the perfect book. The last time I went there I had such a lovely conversation with the staff about the books we read, I didn't really want to leave. Also, for a strip mall location, the place has great ambience! Parking is a little competitive at lunchtime, but its worth it! And the rest of the day its usually front row availability.
Dangerous place for anyone interested in good books. Don't even walk in there. They have good stuff you didn't know existed, and you'll buy it.
