I was in the market to buy a new home or condo and contacted Tim Bennett, who was the listing agent on one of the condos I was interested in. I was pretty skeptical of realtors, but Tim genuinely wanted me to find the best place possible instead of jumping on the first place I saw. Very trustworthy and transparent. He also knows Nashville areas and has a lot of strategies for buying in this tough market. It IS hard, but Tim knows what he is doing. 100% recommend. His partner Mara is very nice and knowledgeable, as she showed me a property while he was away and even came to my condo closing. Love my new place!! I feel lucky to have found a condo in such a nice area at a great price.
My experience with Fridrick and Clark Realty was horrible. I set an appointment to view a property at a time that was convenient for the reps schedule; which meant I had to rearrange my day. When I arrived (on time) he was nowhere to be found. I waited for 15 min and then had to call him. He responded with he got caught up at an exit interview and would be at least another 15 min. Now I understand schedules can change but a courtesy call would have been appropriate. After waiting for 20 min. after I have now rearranged my day to meet exactly at 2, he calls me back to tell me the house is already under contract. Under contract? When I spoke to him yesterday this was the first possible time I could view the property on his schedule, how could this be that in a few hour span, the house magically has a contract? If this was at all a possibility, maybe he could have expressed that the day before. So after the bad news was delivered he just says bye....no well can I help you find another property or anything. In my opinion, this was probably the most unprofessional reality experience I have encountered and would never recommend this realty company.
We want to represent ourselves and are pre approved. I was interested in a less expensive but very challenging property( has long term rental contract) listed by Richard Bryan. My first impression that Richard is super defensive, curt and abrupt, and does not want to be bothered if you are not in a million dollar range. He did not have any information about the property and kept referring to his assistant whome I spoke with for less than 2 mins while scheduling the viewing. While we were inside the occupied property he left to talk on the phone and was gone while we were inside. He came back in an about 7 mins and while we wanted to ask more questions told us that we should go if we are done. Just like that. Would you like for him to show your property to strangers while he is talking outside? Terrible manners and super ungracious. He must be putting on his game face when he is in a much higher price range. He just cannot be bothered by "small" people.
